OWEB Restoration Monitoring Report - Demeter Design assessed over 300 riparian restoration projects across Oregon for the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board - 2010
Santiam-Calapooia Restoration Plan Report - Demeter Design integrated project specific habitat surveys to develop a location specific restoration plan for five individual watersheds in the Willamette Valley - 2010
North Fork John Day Sediment Assessment - Demeter Design completed environmental data collection on USFS and BLM managed lands using the EMAP protocol - 2010
Invasive Weed Control Holden Creek Tillamook Oregon - Demeter Design worked with the Tillamook Headstart to control invasive morning glory. We installed a weed mat to prevent future growth and planted native shrubs to shade out the noxious plant the berries of which are poisonous to children. We worked with TEP to ensure future maintenance. The project was paid for with a grant through the Oregon Department of Education. Work Completed in one weekend in 2007.

Mission:

To provide assessment, mapping, and reporting services and resources for individuals, environmental non-profits and watershed councils, educational and ecumenical groups, universities and school districts, and government agencies; To provide scholarship opportunities for Tillamook County high school and intership opportunities for community college and university students; To provide grants and grant writing assistance to private researchers conducting non-speculative habitat research; To support environmental restoration and conservation; To eradicate invasive weeds; To support local economies and healthy farms; and To ensure clean drinking water.
